Mitzvot Noach - The Universal Laws given to all nations.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 1. There is one Creator of all Creation. After setting in motion the universe, He has made Holy the Sabbath. All nations to acknowledge the single Creative Principle, and the Absolute Holiness given to the Sabbath: Genesis 2:3
So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that He had done in creation.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 2. Against wickedness and evil: Genesis 6:5-8
YH_H saw that the wickedness of humankind was great in the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually. And YH_H was sorry that he had made humankind on the earth, and it greived him to his heart. So YH_H said, "I will blot out from the earth the human beings I have created - people together with animals, and creeping things and birds in the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." But Noah found favor in YH_H.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 3. To erradicate violence: Genesis 6:13 - 18
And God said to Noah: "I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence because of them; now I am going to destroy them along with the earth. ... But I will establish my covenant with you; and you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 4. To procreate: Genesis 8:15
Then God said to Noah, "Go out of the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons' wives with you. Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh - birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth - so that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth."

Mitzvot Noach Reading 5. To procreate: Genesis 9:1
God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. The fear and dread of you shall rest on every animal of the earth, and on every bird of the air, on everything that creeps on the ground, and on all the fish of the sea; into your hand they are delivered.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 6. Against eating blood and against cruelty to animals: Genesis 9:3-4
Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Only, you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 7. To establish of courts of law: Genesis 9:5
For your own lifeblood I will surely require a reckoning: from every animal I will require it and from human beings, each one for the blood of another, I will require a reckoning for human life.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 8. Death penalty for murder: Genesis 9:6
Whoever sheds the life of a human, by a human shall that person's blood be shed; for in his own image God created humankind.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 9. To procreate: Genesis 9:7
"And you, be fruitful and multiply, abound on the earth and multiply in it."

Mitzvot Noach Reading 10. The covenant with all nations is ETERNAL. It must be followed by people for ever: Genesis 9:8
Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him, "As for me, I am establishing my covenant with you and with your descendants after you, and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the domestic animals, and every animal of the earth with you, as many as came out of the ark. I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the water of a flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth." God said, "This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 11. To observe the rainbow as the sign of the Covenant with all nations: Genesis 9:16-17 :
When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth." God said to Noah, "This is the covenant that I have established between me and al flesh that is on earth".

Although Genesis 9:16-17 concludes the saga of the flood and seals the establishment of the Noahide covenant, there are further chapters which clarify the laws that God is expecting humankind to abide by:

Mitzvot Noach Reading 12. Against sexual depravity: Genesis 9:20
Noah, a man of the soil, was the first to plant a vineyard [after disembarking from the ark]. He drank some of the wine and became drunk, and he lay uncovered in his tent. And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. Then Sehm and Japheth took a garment, laid it on both their shoulders, and walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father; their faces were turned away, and they did not see their father's nakedness. When Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his younger son had done to him, he said, "Cursed be Canaan; lowest of slaves shall he be to his brothers."

Mitzvot Noach Reading 13. Against self-presumption and idolizing one's own capabilities; the story of the Tower of Babylon, Genesis 11:1-8
Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. And as they migrated from the east, they came upon a plain in the land of Shinar [Sumer] and settled there. And they said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly." And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves; otherwise we shall be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth." YH_H came down to see the city and the tower, which mortals had built. And YH_H said, "Look, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down, and confuse their language there, so that they will not understand one another's speech. So YH_H scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 14. Against wickedness and sexual perversity; The story of Sodom and Gomorrah's destruction : Genesis 13:12, 18:20, 19:1-13

Genesis 13:12
Abram settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot settled among the cities of the Plain and moved his tent as far as Sodom. Now the people of Sodom were wicked, great sinners against YH_H.

Genesis 18:20
Then YH_H said "How great is the outcry against Sodom and G'morah and how very grave their sin! I must go down and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry that has come to me; and if not, I will know."

Genesis 19:1-13.
The two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and bowed down with his face to the ground. He said, "Please, my lords, turn aside to your servant's house and spend the night, and wash your feet; and you can rise early and go on your way." ... But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both young and old, all the people to the last man, surrounded the house, and they called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, so that we may 'know' them." ... But the men inside [i.e. the two angels in Lot's house] reached out their hands and brought Lot into the house with them, and shut the door. And they struck with blindness the men who were at the door of the house, both small and great, so that they were unable to find the door. ... Then the men [i.e. the two angels] said to Lot: "Have you anyone else here? Sons-in-law, sons, daughters, or anyone you have in the city - bring them out of the place. For we are about to destroy this place, because the outcry against its people has become great before YH_H, and YH_H has sent us to destroy it."

Mitzvot Noach Reading 15. On forbidden sexual relations: Leviticus 18
1 Yahweh said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘I am Yahweh your God. 3 You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you lived. You shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. You shall not follow their statutes. 4 You shall do my ordinances. You shall keep my statutes and walk in them. I am Yahweh your God. 5 You shall therefore keep my statutes and my ordinances, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am Yahweh.

24 “ ‘Don’t defile yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations which I am casting out before you were defiled. 25 The land was defiled. Therefore I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out her inhabitants. 26 You therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the native-born, nor the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you 27 (for the men of the land that were before you had done all these abominations, and the land became defiled), 28 that the land not vomit you out also, when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you. 29 “ ‘For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people. 30 Therefore you shall keep my requirements, that you do not practice any of these abominable customs which were practiced before you, and that you do not defile yourselves with them. I am Yahweh your God.’ ”

6 “ ‘None of you shall approach any close relatives, to uncover their nakedness: I am Yahweh.
7 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, nor the nakedness of your mother: she is your mother. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
8 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife. It is your father’s nakedness.
9 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or born abroad.
10 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter, or of your daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness; for theirs is your own nakedness.
11 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, conceived by your father, since she is your sister.
12 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister. She is your father’s near kinswoman.
13 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s near kinswoman.
14 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother. You shall not approach his wife. She is your aunt.
15 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
16 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife. It is your brother’s nakedness.
17 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter. You shall not take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near kinswomen. It is wickedness.
18 “ ‘You shall not take a wife in addition to her sister, to be a rival, to uncover her nakedness, while her sister is still alive.
19 “ ‘You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.
20 “ ‘You shall not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, and defile yourself with her.
21 “ ‘You shall not give any of your children as a sacrifice to Molech. You shall not profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.
22 “ ‘You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. That is detestable.
23 “ ‘You shall not lie with any animal to defile yourself with it. No woman may give herself to an animal, to lie down with it: it is a perversion.

SUMMARY from the Five Books of Moses: having listed the above themes in the order of their appearance in the Torah, we have the following ten-item summary of the Noahide Laws. In parenthesis we list the cross-reference to the Rabbinical summary, formalized by Rabbi Moses Maimonides (the Rambam)

- To acknowledge that this Torah which is True. (in Rambam's list: It is assumed, no need to list explicitly)

- To acknowledge the base premise of the Torah: The One God has created all Creation (in Rambam's list: #1, "idolatry forbidden")

- To be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth [Genesis 8:15, Genesis 9:1, Genesis 9:7] (in Rambam's list: not discussed!)

- To acknowledge that after Creation, God made the 7th Day Holy (independent of any Covenants with any nation). [Genesis 2:3] (in Rambam's list: not discussed!)

- To abstain from the self-presumption that we can be "familiar" with God [Genesis 11:1-8] (in Rambam's list: #2, "blasphemy forbidden")

- To not commit murder [Genesis 9:6] (in Rambam's list: #3,"murder forbidden")

- To not commit sexual depravity [Genesis 9:20, 19:1-13, Leviticus 18] (in Rambam's list: #4 "sexual depravity forbidden")

- To not commit acts of wickedness, evil, violence [Genesis 6:5-8, 6:13, 13:12, 18:20] (in Rambam's list: #5,"theft forbidden")

- To not eat a animal with it's life / blood in it (i.e. do not eat blood and do not commit cruelty to animals) [Genesis 9:3-4] (in Rambam's list: #6 "blood ingestion and animal cruelty forbidden")

- To establish courts of law [Genesis 9:5] (in Rambam's list: #7,"Establish courts of Law")

The Rabbinical list of Noahide Commandments is a list of Seven items. It goes as follows:
(1) Do not commit idolatry,
(2) Do not commit blasphemy,
(3) Do not commit murder,
(4) Do not commit sexual depravity,
(5) Do not commit stealing, and
(6) Do not commit the eating the flesh of a living animal (many times interpreted as cruelty to animals);
And
(7) Establish courts of law.
It is perhaps optimal to avoid summaries, as they are fraught with human subjectiveness, and it's simply best to refer to the actual Torah text.

Now, beyond the Five Books of Moses, the Torah continues to give additional clarity and emphasis on the duties of the nations. Of particular interest is the explicit approval by the Deity on the Nations observing the Sabbath and the Feast of Sukkot, as well as making offerings in Jerusalem!

Mitzvot Noach Reading 16. At the dedication of Solomon's Temple: Non-Israelites's prayers towards Jerusalem shall be heard: 1 Kings 8:41-43
41 “Moreover, concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he comes out of a far country for your name’s sake 42 (for they shall hear of your great name and of your mighty hand and of your outstretched arm), when he comes and prays toward this house, 43 hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and do according to all that the foreigner calls to you for; that all the peoples of the earth may know your name, to fear you, as do your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by your name.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 17. Seek YHWH's instruction, walk in his paths, accept divine judgment, and abandon warfare : Isaiah 2:2–4
1 This is what Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. 2 It shall happen in the latter days, that the mountain of Yahweh’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. 3 Many peoples shall go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law shall go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem. 4 He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples. They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 18. Do not transgress divine laws/statutes or break the 'everlasting covenant' : Isaiah 24:4–6
1 Behold, Yahweh makes the earth empty, makes it waste, turns it upside down, and scatters its inhabitants. 2 It will be as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the creditor, so with the debtor; as with the taker of interest, so with the giver of interest. 3 The earth will be utterly emptied and utterly laid waste; for Yahweh has spoken this word. 4 The earth mourns and fades away. The world languishes and fades away. The lofty people of the earth languish. 5 The earth also is polluted under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, and broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell therein are found guilty. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left. 7 The new wine mourns. The vine languishes. All the merry-hearted sigh. 8 The mirth of tambourines ceases. The sound of those who rejoice ends. The joy of the harp ceases. 9 They will not drink wine with a song. Strong drink will be bitter to those who drink it. 10 The confused city is broken down. Every house is shut up, that no man may come in. 11 There is a crying in the streets because of the wine. All joy is darkened. The mirth of the land is gone. 12 The city is left in desolation, and the gate is struck with destruction. 13 For it will be so within the earth among the peoples, as the shaking of an olive tree, as the gleanings when the vintage is done.
14 These shall lift up their voice. They will shout for the majesty of Yahweh. They cry aloud from the sea. 15 Therefore glorify Yahweh in the east, even the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea! 16 From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs. Glory to the righteous!

Mitzvot Noach Reading 19. Nations: Abandon powerless idols; turn to YHWH for salvation and acknowledge him : Isaiah 45:20–23
20 “Assemble yourselves and come. Draw near together, you who have escaped from the nations. Those have no knowledge who carry the wood of their engraved image, and pray to a god that can’t save. 21 Declare and present it. Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has shown this from ancient time? Who has declared it of old? Haven’t I, Yahweh? There is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior. There is no one besides me.
22 “Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. 23 I have sworn by myself. The word has gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and will not be revoked, that to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 20. The righteous of all nations to observe the Sabbath, and to pray and make offerings with Israel at Jerusalem's Temple : Isaiah 56:1, 56:3, 56:6-8
"Thus says YH_H: Maintain justice, and do what is right, for soon my salvation will come, and my deliverance revealed. ... Do not let the foreigner joined to YH_H say "YH_H will surely separate me from his people" ... And the foreigners who join themselves to YH_H, to minister to him, to love the name of YH_H, and to be his servants, all who keep the sabbath, and do not profane it, and hold fast my covenant - these I will bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples. Thus says YH_H God who gathers the outcasts of Israel: "I will gather others to them besides those already gathered.""

Mitzvot Noach Reading 21. Nations: turn from evil; obey God's voice; do what is good : Jeremiah 18:7–10
5 Then Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 6 “House of Israel, can’t I do with you as this potter?” says Yahweh. “Behold, as the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, house of Israel. 7 At the instant I speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy it, 8 if that nation, concerning which I have spoken, turns from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do to them. 9 At the instant I speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, 10 if they do that which is evil in my sight, that they don’t obey my voice, then I will repent of the good with which I said I would benefit them.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 22. Nations: Do not engage in extreme wartime brutality : Amos 1:3–15, 2:1-3
3 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Damascus, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron; 4 but I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it will devour the palaces of Ben Hadad. 5 I will break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven, and him who holds the scepter from the house of Eden; and the people of Syria shall go into captivity to Kir,” says Yahweh.

6 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Gaza, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they carried away captive the whole community, to deliver them up to Edom; 7 but I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, and it will devour its palaces. 8 I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; and I will turn my hand against Ekron; and the remnant of the Philistines will perish,” says the Lord‡ Yahweh.

9 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Tyre, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they delivered up the whole community to Edom, and didn’t remember the brotherly covenant; 10 but I will send a fire on the wall of Tyre, and it will devour its palaces.”

11 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Edom, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he pursued his brother with the sword and cast off all pity, and his anger raged continually, and he kept his wrath forever; 12 but I will send a fire on Teman, and it will devour the palaces of Bozrah.”

13 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border. 14 But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it will devour its palaces, with shouting in the day of battle, with a storm in the day of the whirlwind; 15 and their king will go into captivity, he and his princes together,” says Yahweh.

2:
1 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Moab, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime; 2 but I will send a fire on Moab, and it will devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab will die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet; 3 and I will cut off the judge from among them, and will kill all its princes with him,” says Yahweh.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 23. Nations, by way of Assyria: Turn from evil and from violence; repent before God : Jonah 1:2; 3:1–10
1 Now Yahweh’s word came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, 2 “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach against it, for their wickedness has come up before me.”
3:
1 Yahweh’s word came to Jonah the second time, saying, 2 “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the message that I give you.” 3 So Jonah arose, and went to Nineveh, according to Yahweh’s word. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, three days’ journey across. 4 Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried out, and said, “In forty days, Nineveh will be overthrown!” 5 The people of Nineveh believed God; and they proclaimed a fast and put on sackcloth, from their greatest even to their least. 6 The news reached the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, took off his royal robe, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. 7 He made a proclamation and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, “Let neither man nor animal, herd nor flock, taste anything; let them not feed, nor drink water; 8 but let them be covered with sackcloth, both man and animal, and let them cry mightily to God. Yes, let them turn everyone from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. 9 Who knows whether God will not turn and relent, and turn away from his fierce anger, so that we might not perish?”
10 God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. God relented of the disaster which he said he would do to them, and he didn’t do it.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 24. Nations: Learn YHWH's ways, walk in his paths, submit to judgment, and abandon warfare : Micah 4:1–4
1 But in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of Yahweh’s temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it. 2 Many nations will go and say, “Come! Let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law will go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem; 3 and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 25. Nations (by way of Babylon conquering everything in its path): Do not plunder, exploit, acquire unjust gain, build by bloodshed; reject idolatry! : Habakkuk 2:5–17
1 I will stand at my watch and set myself on the ramparts, and will look out to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint. 2 Yahweh answered me, “Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who runs may read it. 3 For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. It won’t delay. 4 Behold, his [Babylon's] soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith. 5 Yes, moreover, wine is treacherous: an arrogant man who doesn’t stay at home, who enlarges his desire as Sheol; he is like death and can’t be satisfied, but gathers to himself all nations and heaps to himself all peoples. 6 Won’t all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, ‘Woe to him who increases that which is not his, and who enriches himself by extortion! How long?’ 7 Won’t your debtors rise up suddenly, and wake up those who make you tremble, and you will be their victim?
8 Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples will plunder you because of men’s blood, and for the violence done to the land, to the city and to all who dwell in it. 9 Woe to him who gets an evil gain for his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the hand of evil! 10 You have devised shame to your house by cutting off many peoples, and have sinned against your soul. 11 For the stone will cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the woodwork will answer it.
12 Woe to him who builds a town with blood, and establishes a city by iniquity! 13 Behold, isn’t it from Yahweh of Hosts that the peoples labor for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity? 14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Yahweh’s glory, as the waters cover the sea.
15 “Woe to him who gives his neighbor drink, pouring your inflaming wine until they are drunk, so that you may gaze at their naked bodies! 16 You are filled with shame, and not glory. You will also drink and be exposed! The cup of Yahweh’s right hand will come around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory. 17 For the violence done to Lebanon will overwhelm you, and the destruction of the animals will terrify you, because of men’s blood and for the violence done to the land, to every city and to those who dwell in them.
18 “What value does the engraved image have, that its maker has engraved it; the molten image, even the teacher of lies, that he who fashions its form trusts in it, to make mute idols? 19 Woe to him who says to the wood, ‘Awake!’ or to the mute stone, ‘Arise!’ Shall this teach? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all within it. 20 But Yahweh is in his holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before him!”

Mitzvot Noach Reading 26. Nations: Avoid reproach, arrogant self-exaltation, aggression, and pride : Zephaniah 2:4–15
1 Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, you nation that has no shame, 2 before the appointed time when the day passes as the chaff, before the fierce anger of Yahweh comes on you, before the day of Yahweh’s anger comes on you. 3 Seek Yahweh, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of Yahweh’s anger. [...] 10 This they will have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of Yahweh of Armies. 11 Yahweh will be awesome to them, for he will famish all the gods of the land. Men will worship him, everyone from his place, even all the shores of the nations.

Mitzvot Noach Reading 27. Nations: Seek YHWH and entreat his favor : Zechariah 8:20–23
20 Yahweh of Hosts says: “Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come. 21 The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, ‘Let’s go speedily to entreat the favor of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of Hosts. I will go also.’ 22 Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek Yahweh of Hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of Yahweh.” 23 Yahweh of Hosts says: “In those days, ten men out of all the languages of the nations will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying, ‘We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’ ”

Mitzvot Noach Reading 28. Nations: Worship the King, YHWH of Hosts; keep the Feast of Booths in the eschatological age : Zechariah 14:16–19
16 It will happen that everyone who is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of Hosts, and to keep the feast of booths. 17 It will be that whoever of all the families of the earth doesn’t go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of Armies, on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt doesn’t go up and doesn’t come, neither will it rain on them. This will be the plague with which Yahweh will strike the nations that don’t go up to keep the feast of booths. 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that don’t go up to keep the feast of booths.

SUMMARY from the Five Books of Moses and the Prophets: When we onboard the scripture coming from the Prophets, our summary from the Five Books of Moses expands in the direction of encouraging the observance of certain rituals in partnership with Israel: Sabbath, Sukkot, and Offerings at the Temple itself!

- To acknowledge that this Torah which is True.

- To acknowledge the base premise of the Torah: The One God has created all Creation

- To be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth
